Welcome to my first WordPress site! I’m so excited about learning to use and manipulate this platform, which roughly 40% of the world’s websites use. When it comes to what I can build online, I am getting to the point of feeling like the only obstacle will be imagination.

This is technically my first blog, even though I never intended to have one. The purpose of my site will still be to update my friends and family on my progress with my tech classes, but it will eventually shift into a more professional, freelance web development site I can use to land and service clientele. Another exciting thing about WordPress is that its sooo freaking easy to update and play with! I won’t have to spend hours writing code just to say “Hey, look what I did.” I expect to have new features and updates at least once a week now.

The best part about this platform, is not only that I will be able to design some amazing websites with incredible functionality, but clients will be able to update the sites I build with zero to minimal help from me. Most people like saving both time and money! I feel very close to the point where I can start building my first quality sites for friends and family.
